Thread: Bar & Magnum winch or diff lock

As already mentioned having a locker/s will get you into more tricky spots.... and that's where the winch would come into play....

Like all us Land Rover nut-jobs you really need it all!!!

But saying that, I'd go just a rear locker (if you really hammer it, heavy duty axles after that, apparently..) and the winch bar, but not the winch.... just yet.

Consider if you go 4WDriving with good mates (they are the ones with Land Rovers too) they can pull you out, when the locker has got you further down/up that track you thought you could get through (when in reality only a Challenger II could traverse).

Thanks again. As our disco does not have airbags will a bar from a range rover fit as they come up for sale alot more that those for disco's and I saw one in the last trading post.
