Some advice needed. Our club had a phone call from a new Disco 2 owner wanting to find out where to get a workshop manual. Apparently Drysdale's Bookshop said Haynes & Gregories don't have one yet, and Austral were their usual helpful selves saying that they didn't even have the genuine article - maybe that explains a few things!
Does anyone know if a workshop manual is available (genuine or non-genuine) and where to get it from?

Hi Vlad, I have no idea where I have them stored but I have both a Disco1 and Disco2 Genuine Land Rover workshop manuals so yes they are available.
Here something to keep in mind, if the vehicle was sold in the USA, then by laws, any vehicle sold in the USA MUST have a workshop manual available.
So if you have a vehicle that was sold in a similar form in the USA then the workshop manuals are available SOMEWHERE.

I had a look on the UK Hayes manuals and one is suppose to be coming out Fall of 2007 - these means probably Sept / Oct. You can always spend the big money and get a factory one ordered in from your local dealer.
I bought the Discovery Series II, 3 volume set of workshop manuals direct from the Land Rover dealer in Canberra in 2003. They cost about $200 and took a couple of weeks to get them. My edition is the 6th Edition published in 2002. Best of luck.
