    Question R380R gearbox ?

    will an r380r td5 box fit a 300tdi (suffix e from memory)?
    2007 Discovery 3 SE7 TDV6 2.7
    2012 SZ Territory TX 2.7 TDCi

    it should do, looking at the parts for them they appear to share the same casing.. the only hassle you might have is needing to change the bell housings over (bearings sizes look the same) and if your going that way for the main box why not go the tcase as a matched pair?

    Make sure the R380 has come out of a Defender, Disco ones have the gear lever etc in a different position.
