    Question Reputable engine rebuilder

    I was wondering if someone could advise me on locating an engine reconditioner's in Melbourne, particularly with expertise in rebuilding Rover V8's.

    I drive a Disco 3.5ltr which shows signs of needing attention.

    I now about companise like Ritters & Lance Dixon etc, but there must be others around Melbourne that which have a close association with Land Rover.

    Most of the other mobs are good enough for a stock rebuild on a 3.5

    I reside at Eildon, 84RR.
    I have family in Endeavour Hills, so visit regularly.

    My issue's, these not one mechanic in my area that has a clue about Rover engine's. (heaven's above, these old motor's aren't star war's technology)

    Has anyone heard of "Deacon Automotive" in East Bentleigh?? They sound expensive to me, but have obvious expertise in engine modification & performance upgrades.
