    I found an old brochure..
    They make/made 3 types
Series Landies Part no MDE 571
Coil sprung Landies with rear drums (5X 10mm bolts on hub) P/no MDE5806
R/R Disco /Defender from 1992 MDE 859 - You remove the oil seal in the spindle and replace with an earlier one so the spline is lubricated.
All are machined for the thread on cap
    Cheers,
    David

Rover narrowed the hub width when they went to the weak cv's, which have a shorter stub shaft, eg. Disco I with 24 spline half shafts.

Maxi-drive have a different drive flange for the front of these vehicle to allow the stronger, early count 110 cv's (with longer stub shaft) to be fitted. New bushes and half shafts are also need to fit these cv's.

Disco II (I don't know much about them) could be different again.
