I cannot confirm one way or the other but Freelanders are full of torx heads - so it will be worth buying a complete set. I Bought a set of the "socket" type and a set of the other type (the ones that work like an allen key) - a male set and a female set. They are not expensive but u need to buy at a tool shop - try toolies at sandgate or gasweld - not super crap.
The cost of the two sets to cover the sizes sizes to cover the freelander was only about $50 - small cost compared the cost of the work u will be doing and u will use the set constantly - afterall u now have a freelander
.
I hope you have a workshop manual - because the sequence of loosening and tighening head bolts is really important in the 1.8.
Good luck
