    Talking Springs On Series

    Ok who knows how many springs to take out of each leaf pack for softer ride & better offroading.i will have to do this for awhile till the funds are able to cope with parabolics.As far as i know they are all standed LWB S3 if someone knows & could advise on what to do i would be greatfull..standed or after market shocks???

    It will depend on whether you are going to carry much in the vehicle or is it just for playing. Start by taking 2 out and work from there. Trial and error is the only way methinks.

    2 or 3 in the rear.

    I have taken 2 out of front left, 1 out of front right to counter act torque twist and a weight offsets ect.

    Its all trial and error

    I removed the easy springs on mine, opened up the clamps and the leafs that fell out stayed out. Didn't get any loss in height but a good bit more comfort. Didn't touch the front, but will be taking some out.

    Before you start pulling leaves:

    Jack the car up by the chassis to open the leaves up a bit then spray some oil in between the leaves. Motorbike chain lube in a can with the extension nozzle is absolutly perfect for the job because it foams and penetrates between all the leaves..
    Have done this to many leaf sprung 4x4's, the difference in ride quality is amazing.
