Can I assume that it will be only the RFS system as offiered on the Lexus (according to their website). It's a swaybar system, so it's real benefit is in ride comfort (which an LC really, really needs. They'd have to be one of the most uncomfortable cars I've ever been in).

I heard that the fuel tank if fitted with "kinetic suspension "is only 80-90 ltrs.
And there is nowhere else to put another tank.(not 100% sure).

I got a short drive of one a few months back.

Feels a lot crisper than the old 100 series in the suspension department. But sizewise it feels like driving a small house.
I was honestly expecting more go for the torque numbers it has.

The keyless entry and start button is just wierd. I've heard of one guy who turned one down because of that. If they key fob is left in the vehicle then any playing kid could hit the start button.
Unlike normal keys that have to be in the ignition to work.

Looks all right to me, be interesting to see what the price will be. I think 4X4 is roadtesting one next month.
$71,000 + on roads full spec for the 76 series wagon TDV8, wouldn't want to be a rear seat passenger in a leaf sprung wagon

Had a look at one at the Queanbeyan show, pretty ordinary really

Someone I know has the new trayback with v8 diesel.

I don't like the low mounting of the turbo and alternator - water crossings

I was talking to the ranger for Barrington Tops a little while back. NPWS have a few of the new Landcruisers with v8 diesel and every one was off the road with damaged wiring - due to being low.

I intend to try and build my own version of the kinetic suspension. Landcruiser licence it from a company in WA.

One end of each sway bar has a two directional hydraulic actuator. Both actuators are connected together hydraulically in a diagonal crossover pattern.

When the body leans during high speed cornering, both actuators either try to extend (or retract), so there is now flow between them.

But during articulation, flow occurs between front and back actuators. So effectively disconnecting the swaybars, or even forcing a degree of articulation.
