.....Absolutely,... heard the same to the effect that some inferior (white )ones where floating about .
Worth noting also, that when we got ours,(12-18 months past) some sellers were still trying to palm off the old ( inferior ) Black ones..........that's Another reason why i mentioned the colour.
As for the construction of this one ....it's leaps and bounds ahead of the original,
Fortunately, we got an early warning that ours had sprung a leak when the LOW COOLANT alarm went off.
