Do you mean the foam or something else?

JDNSW just replaced the foam in his County seats.

If anyone comes up with one, I shall grind my teeth and mutter curses - I couldn't find one.

There are a number (at least two) of suppliers in the UK, and these are quite happy to ship overseas, but the costs of shipping seem to be a bit ridiculous. Although if you are getting an entire seat base, the shipping cost will seem less outrageous than just the foam (which is the major bulk and weight). In my case the metal work of the base was readily repairable, the upholstery just needed a good wash, so all that really needed replacing was the foam. Not a particularly hard job, but a bit fiddly.

One thing you should note is that all 90/110 front seats are identical except for the trim materials and possibly a few minor details, so seat bases from any 90/110/Defender will fit. (This excludes very early 110s up to about the end of 1984, which had the same seats as late Series 3)

Rear seats have varies a lot more, and the centre front seat (where fitted) became about two inches narrower when the push button doors were introduced about 1987.

    Thanks Guys,
As in the other thread I to have bread crumbs and the cover is pretty worn. I like the look of the Paddock retrim kit (it even comes with a 20 min fitment CD, what ever happened to steak knives). But if buying a whole seat base is cheaper overall, I will run with that option.

Would dealers stock the bases ??
