Ok. I got ran a light earth from the engine back to the battery bay and measured the voltage. 14.2 as opposed to 13 without the earth. :) Then I hooked the earth onto the battery terminal. Ouch that alligator clip is hot. LOL.
I get under the car and follow the cable from the battery box to the car earth, and then to the gearbox (about a foot). Wiggle cable and it moves. Get spanner and turn nut 90deg. Start and measure voltage. 14.2 at the battery. LOL
It would appear when they replaced the clutch they didn't quite tighten up the nut on the gearbox. Thanks for the new alternator LR. LOL :eek: :eek: :D :D
