    Inductive module

I replaced inductive module on my 1993 RR recently. Replacment was non-genuine (Ford). Please see my other recent thread http://www.aulro.com/afvb/showthread.php't=36111 Has anybody had any experience with non-genuine modules?

What do you actually mean by "inductive module"??????

The amplifier module on the side of dizzy or next to coil......

    OR

The magnetic pick-up coil adjacent to rotating reluctor inside the dizzy ??????

If you mean the module near the coil, this is made by Bosch and used in a lot of commonly found vehicles including Fords and Holdens. (I have a list of all the vehicles its used in if someone wants a cheap spare from the wreckers - I paid $25 for the last one). So 'non genuine' is fine.

I believe other term is ignition module. The original sits next to dizzy but aftermarket is adjacent to coil (wires extended on dizzy).

I believe they are different types (dissy mounted vs coil mounted)and probably not interchangeable. Remote mount is generally better as away from the heat......
