Need help - 200tdi fuel system
I have just finished fitting up the engine, only to find that I cant seem to get any fuel through
, any ideas.
Record engine refit for me considerng I had a ***** of a time getting it out, went like a dream about 6 hours from dropping of the engine stand, fitting bell housing to trying to start the bloody thing.

Are the IN and OUT outlets on the fuel pump plumbed in backwards?
Disconnect them, put your finger over the end of an outlet and hand prime it. You should be able to feel the suction on the side that connects to the tank.
Hopefully it's something simple.

In addition to priming the fuel system, just check to see if you have adjusted the tappets correctly - it's happened before - somebody rebuilt a tdi engine and couldn't figure out why no start. I have quite a list of some of the dum things I've forgotten to do.
