Yes, RMP did a post about it, and took photos, I think.

I saw it, and externally, and from the driver's door back, it is virtually unchanged from the current model TD5.

The example shown at the motor show was not AU specs and had a sunroof, and rear cargo area seats, which may not be available in AU version due to ADR compliance.

The rear passenger seats (2nd row), now have head rests , and the front ones are more comfortable than before, with maybe a little more legroom. Handbrake is the same, but the dash and instruments are new, with fully integrated heating and A/C. Front vents are gone , but if the A/C works well, they can be done without, I guess.

Bonnet now has a bulge for the new engine (2.4L Durotorq ala Ford transit). The power is the same, but torque is larger but at a higher RPM than the TD5. The new gearbox feels better than the M380, and is 6 speed to allow for the higher torque RPM rating. Couldn't open the bonnet because the cable was disconnected.

The show vehicle had carpet throughout, but again, may not be in AU version.

Looks promising, and they haven't buggered up the practical aspects of the vehicle. Hopefully the new engine will be quieter, and should be adequately powerful. (I have been passed by 2.4 Transits on M4 in UK - I was doing about 80 mph and they were going at least 90!)

    Cheers

I did see the new fender at the Avalon Airshow the other week.
Was silver in colour, had black leather interior and looked the goods. They still were not sure when they were to arrive in country and what options and price levels.
Couldn't see the engine (bonnet release was broken) but the 6 sp manual felt good and I'm guessing can only be an improvement..(noise fuel economy etc)
