Usually, the ABS light is supposed to stay on until you've reached (well, your vehicle, that is) a speed of about 5 km/h. If the sensors are playing up the warning light will stay on.
Good luck!

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.
Usally on mine the lights come on when i turn the ignition key on 1 eg TC ABS glow plugs oil engin check (there are more but you get the idea). then after a while they turn off (thelights) then i start the car and usally thats the end of it. BUT tonight ABS light came on jst after firing that why i found it strange cause it usally doesnt. so should it ??
Thanks Everyone
As Jojo said. According to the manual with the vehicle, it stays on until a speed of approx 7 kph is reached. At least, mine does.
