Best thing would be to get the RAVE CD if your Disco is a Series II. Check the market section on the forum.

If its an earlier Disco then you'll need the workshop manual, do an google search as you should find a download of this somewhere.

    I assume you have a Disco 2.

Firstly, by the RAVE CD-ROM from the markets here:
    http://www.aulro.com/apc/showproduct...duct=27&cat=34

I'm at work so I can't check RAVE but I don't think your model has a dipstick for the auto trans. Earlier models did.

Re the transfer case, it has a filler/level plug at the rear beside the transmission brake. Remove it with a 1/2" square handle from a socket set. Top up with EP90 oil.

    Thanks Ron,

All the info seems to be on the disk.
I guess if the box is still leaking at has got at least some oil in it.

Any body had a similar problem? . If so what is the rough cost to stop it leaking.

    Thanks again.

depending on where it is leaking from I would tip around $300 all up for one of the 2 output seals (and that would be replacing both of them) $150 to replace the base plate gasket and if its the leak from between the tcase and the gbox well thats anyones guess (Never done and auto one) but for a manual look at $550 to 600.

If your near brisvagas and want me to have an eyeball at it drop me a line.
