its not ment to happen but it does...
its to do with the layout of the shift bias and detend. It doesnt mean anything is terminal inside the box its all external and isnt anything to panic about yet.
The fact that it only happens in the center gears means one of 2 things that the springs are a little weak/dirty and not holding in the middle detents properly or that the selector bush is worn.
Id not panic about it if its not actually effecting gear shifts but once it gets to the point where your not confident that the shifter is in on the right selector then its time to have a look, hopefully this isnt untill you have to drop the box or pull the engine for some other reason.
