    Trailer Brake modulator mounting

    Evening all,
Just wondering where people have mounted their trailer brake modulators in a Defender with Air/Cond.
Also what modulators you may have bought and are you happy with it.
Several Tekonsha models on ebay around $96.00 + postage. Is this a good price? are they a good unit?

    Thanks

    Mal.

vertically on the front of the centre console using a solid state (no pendulum so can be mounted in any position) Hayman Reece controller with the wiring coming through the trans tunnel under the console.
Using the Hayman Reece in the Patrol as well, 5.5 years in the Patrol (main tow vehicle) 5 years in the Defender. The 'fender one is now R/S as the manual overide button flew to bits a month or so back energising the trailer brake circuit which I had to pull the power lead on.

Tekonsha have had a good name for nearly forever.
