The old master cylinder failure has struck again. It's booked in tomorrow to have both sleeved with ss. Slave OK at the mo but off to the Cape in Julyso I'd rather not chance it. Decided to get both done.
Question ... Just noticed my Rave CD only shows LHD info for removing master cylinder. Is there any difference as I intended offering the mechanic a copy if he feels it will be of use. (Not sure of his knowledge on Landies, but he's well spoken of and I thought I'd give him a go, seeing as it's not really Landie specific).
If so would one of you kind souls have the info you could provide ? .... Before tomorrow AM......
Cheers
there is a very big difference between the Left hand drive and right hand drive...
The location of the clutch is on the wrong side of the vehicle, if he goes looking on the left side he'll be trying to pull the heater out to get to the cylinder thats not there...
Seriously aside from a longer line run that makes bleeding without a vac or pressure bleeder a bit of a pain theres no traps, just take mirror image pics of the images and exchange left for right when reading the wordy bits.
