    TD5 Badge

    I am in the market for a 03-04 TD5 but a few are missing the rear badge. Does this mean it has been in an accident and has not been replaced?

    My 05 TD5 never came with one, nor did it have the 'Extreme' stickers. I was told that customers had consistently requested removal of all stickers, plus they rationalised the number of models - so they were dropped.

    Hi Catch-22
    The 03-04 D2a my did not come wih a TD5 badge, the front "LAND ROVER" badging was replaced with a high profile type metal looking plastic, they did not make it for the rear.
    The earlier D2's had a slightly raised sticker type & was matched at the rear with either TD5 or V8.

    Some of the later ones dont seem to have the Series2 badge either.
    Well the odd 1 or 2 Ive noticed,I thought the same,not re-fitted after a panel shop visit.
