    Tools required?

I'm going to do a complete fluid change next weekend on my 300 TDi - other than the sump plug which I know, can anyone tell me what tools I'll need for the drain and top-up plugs on the diffs, gearbox and transfer box please?

    Thanks!

didnt, from memory they should have the one shot grease in them..

if they dont its a 11mm or 13mm to get them open to squeeze it in...

and brake pipes are 11mm or 12mm depending on what day your brake pipes were manufactured (its even been known to have both sizes on differnt sides of the same axle and with a tool tag system thats raised more than one set of 4 letter combos to exit my mouth)

In reality if you goto a decent toolmart, Total tools for example, smf buy thr metric ring/open end spanner set in sizes 8-24mm youve got it covered

For the gearbox fill plug you will need a Torx T55 or T60 (pretty sure its the 55)

Definately Torx TX55 and always the one that does not come in the sets. Not dear about $5-8 to buy on its own in a good brand.
