Thread: It's all gone black

Dash lights, tail lights (brake lights work), and cold bit of air con (fans still work) all stopped.

Any suggestions of where I should start looking?

I'm guessing the air con under dash thing, but I'm reluctant to pull all that apart, mostly because I can't see a way to get it out without a second person standing outside the car to pull the nuts off the firewall.

Fossicked about in the half dozen places I could find a fuse, one in the passenger battery box was blown 15amp, but replacing it didn't make anything go shiny.

I'm assuming a short in the air con.

who'd like to tell me that I do have to take the air con out?
