Sounds incomplete then.
You've got the generic bit for the outside, you need the pipework inside to suit your particular air filter location.
And if its marked tdi, that's the earlier model disco anyway. Unlikely it'll be a good fit.

G'day all,
I found a Safari Snorkel today still in the box for a reasonable price, It is marked as being for a TDi/V8 with ABS. Does anyone know if it will fit my Disco 2 TD5?

Yeah, rekon you're right mate, will take my disco round and check it a bit closer though to see if it can be made to fit easily enough. I didnt have the disco there when i found the snorkel but looking at the instructions briefly the airbox was definately in a differant location to mine![]()
The asking price is $395 which is better than any other price i've been quoted!!!
Have a peek at this

G'day Ladas,
I've looked at the Airflow's and like the price, there seems to be alot of discussion as to their quality though....
I've gone through most of the threads on snorkels and the general consensus seems to be that Safari are best, followed by Airtec and then Airflow??? What do you think?
Hi Phil
Sorry the Disco1 item is different than Disco2,see the safari website for confirmation.
The TD5 and V8 disco2 are the same.
