What I wanted to know about was the "ETC" problems from stand still on slippery hills. Opinions of that sort, the ABS, HDC are both fine & functional (however I didn't know it worked in Reverse.....).

Issues with it stalling the vehicle due to excessive brake pressure from the "ETC" on launch from slippery conditions. Is it normal or a possible one off, thats the sort of thing I was chasing.
Okay ........even on slipery slopes, my disco ETC has never caused it to even get near stalling.

Yeah sorry that was more directed at Signal1 and his bad experience with HDC.

As i mentioned before never had a problem with the ETC at all in reguards to it stalling on hills, well when i say stalling i mean the ETC causing the stalling, i have had the car stall but that was either a fuel problem (happened on Farrells Rd in the Watagans ) or me being a dill

All i can think is there may be another problem causing the stalling and not the ETC.

Don't bypass the ETC, get the CDL actuator, you'll be amazed how good the D2 is when the ETC and CDL is engaged

And yes get lockers too, will only make it better

I would love to be able to switch mine off purely for the entertainment value on mud or clay pans, just dont know if it would stuff with the ABS. Love the TC tho works an absoloute treat but mine is auto so be pretty surprised if it ever stalled.
