you getting fuel?...
Having trouble starting my 1981 3.5 rangie classic. Pulled a plug out to check spark and it only seems to spark about every 2 seconds while cranking on starter. Is that normal. Has a Pertronix ignition module with a Bosch SU 12R coil. Strombergs have just been kitted and have static timed it at around 5 deg btc. You would think it would at least fire up at little, but getting nothing.

Seems to be, will have to look into it more next weekend, just wondering about how often it was sparking, seems a bit slow.

My old two door slowly got harder and harder to start, I cheched everything, ended up being the starter motor, the old one was not spinning the motor over quick enough, I was told that the 3.5 needed to spin faster as they were a low compression motor, not sure how correct that is, new starter and she fired up straight away
