Hard hard would you think changing the brake light bulbs would be? Well, was I not ****ed off tonight, trying to change both brake light bulbs and finding that its almost impossible to reach the suckers when you have seats and also where they are positioned!!! I was cursing the guy/gal who designed these, hands are aching like buggery trying to squeeze in the tiny area to get to these suckers![]()

I bet that is a Disco1 he is talking about. I have a six seater so the side without the seat was simple but with the seat meant a semi removal of the seat which meant removing the cargo drawers.
I fixed this for next time by removing the sixth seat entirely![]()
sounds like a disco to me

Inc, I bet it's a Disco 1. I had to change one of my brake lights a couple of months ago and was thinking the exact same thoughts as stooge.
And mine doesn't have rear seats to get in the way either.

Easier to take out the whole assembly than take off a yard of finger skin. But it took me a few shots to work that out.
Go figure...

WTF ! ! !
Not when I tried ..... my fingertips weren't designed for those tiny little "wingnuts" ... trying to unscrew them off those rusty posts was a real *****
anyway, got them out - post and all, cleaned all the crap out of the lamp assembly (was dust once and then became mud)
DON'T GET ME STARTED ON TRYING TO GET THEM BACK IN

So I should be very thankful the brakelights have never failed in my SE7?![]()
