    Radiator woes

Where to buy a L/R radiator in WA for the Fender and How much should I be looking to Pay?
Mines lost most of its cooling fins by an unfortunate accident by me
Worst case scenario for my trip I will swap it with our disco's same year , same motor

    Hi Nigel
    Get a price to re-core.
You can get thicker and also denser cores for increased cooling capacity.
A pain for you,but our local man is usually very good on his pricing.GT Radiators Narrogin,Graham Turner,ph98814447

I got a price to recore my V Disco radiator and it was cheaper to buy a new one, something to do with the way LR radiators are made makes them expensive to rebuild.

I think I paid about $500 for a new one.

Any ideas what sort of price? I have Rovacraft quoting me for a new one (Plus some other stuff) in the morning, so would be good to know the re-core cost. When I had a local garage quote, a re-core was dearer than a new one, and that wasn't for an uprated core either, which I'd prefer!

For the TD5 Recore $666(Interesting number there) From Nat Rad.
New either the $850 one or the $1100 one (These prices are Land Rover).

Jeez.....so if Rovacraft come in somewhere between the $400 and $500 I'm expecting maybe that isn't as bad as I thought?

And to think this is £100 back in the UK from Paddocks! Wonder how much shipping would be...

    Hi Jeff
No Idea for a Landy one, give Graham a call and tell him what your after.
He has done a holden,Mitsi and ford radiator for me,plus we sent him all the farm stuff when I was a farm worker, does our shire repairs too,a helpfull chap.
If you and Nigel(DirtyDawg)want the same job doing 2 at once may make it worth his efforts.Ask him about doing 2 at once.
I can give you the number of the Perth/Narrogin/Perth daily courier,if you want Graham to do the work.Another top guy to know!!!!
