Thread: The 2.4 ford diesel sounds very smoooth!!.

Had a ford transit courier van park beside me today & the guy shot off into a shop with a parcel & left the motor running, got out off the landy and had a good listen, Chit!! , a lot quieter as far as rattles and knocks compared to the tdi, very smooth sound when he took off. Just maybe the fenders are gunna be smoooth, quiet, limmo"s , and no one is going to hear us tootling around anymore ! .

Give them a few years till the water pump, power steering pump, alternator, aircon compressor and tensioner bearings start to wear and then see what they sound like! Oh, hang on, that's the Tdi I'm thinking of.
