    300tdi pistol gasket.Leak.

    Pistol gasket is leaking again!!, Had a stealer put the last one in , think i will do this one my self, Which is the best gasket and sealant to fix this reacurring prob? Are the bolts that hold that housing on behind the water pump? whats gotta come off to get to this thing.

    All info greatley appreciated

    What Piston are you talking about???

    Are you refering to the Head Gasket??

    I think he means the P gasket between the block and the timing cover
    he said pistol gasket not piston

    In addition: Get a copy of a workshop manual or RAVE - proper torque on re-assembly is required to ensure the joint seals properly. Otherwise it's an easy afternoon job.
