    P76 Engine Oil/Filter change advice

I have been told that there is some 'trick' to doing oil changes on the P76 motor. Can someone please list in order what needs to be done to do an oil/filter change.

    Thanks in advance

Possibly referring to the Rover 3.5 trait of don't drop the oil out and filter off together - The oil pump may lose its prime.

Drop the oil, refill and then do the filter, or vice versa

I always used to prefill the oil filter with new oil before refitting it. I do that to my Rangie as well.

Thanks. I have been also told to pre-fill the filter too. Because its a dual fuel motor, I was thinking of getting Penrite HPR Gas oil... any thoughts?
