    33x10.5x15's

    any one running them on a std height defender?

    Arent the 33s only marginaly taller than a standard issue defender 235/85x16,(metric replacement for the 7.50x16)

    the chart i saw said 40mm on the diameter

    the 235's are a taller tyre than a 7.50x16 from what i have seen.

    i have 2 sets of rims,

    a set of 15 x 7" mags - i have 31x10.5x15 on them and it is fine except for the diameter of the tyre is way to small... 12kph slow out at 100k :P

    the offset is spot on so i dont have to alter the turn stops or anything, so the width is fine...

    std 5.5 x 16" defender rims - i have 235x85x16 bfg AT's on but i am not a fan and would rather a mud or steeltrek on them so i picked up 5 x 2nd hand 7.50R16 steeltreks for $150 and will fit them for now...

    the 33 x 10.5 x 15 are taller than the 235's ...

    is a bitch :P

    Im a big fan of tall skinnys,do much better than fatties,especially on sand.Will be changing my 255/70 STs to the new Rangie for road tyres and going for 235/85x16 MTRs for the D2 ALL THE TIME
