    Wheel nuts

I need to purchase some mag wheel nuts for my classic rangie, and was wondering if someone could tell me what thread the studs are so I know what to look for and what to ask for at the shop. Hoping they are common and readily available. I need the ones that recess down inside the rim, any help or advise appreciated..

Have a look here for a recent discussion on thread sizes:

Are the nuts for genuine alloys or aftermarket ?
Aftermarkets usually have a much thinner shank than genuine.

If genuine, then a wrecker will be your best bet.

If you only want a couple I have some I may be persuaded to part with new, unused.

That’s if you are after the ones for aftermarket alloy rims.
Check out my profile for pics of my RRC to see if you have the same rims but saying that I have two sets of alloy rims and the use the same nut so this nut prob fits several rims.

Maybe you could post a pic of the wheel nut you have?

Like Defenders and Discos I'd say they are 16mm.

The nut is the same as the ones on my alloys I have two sets of alloys and those nuts fit them both. If it helps anone else; one set of my rims are cheviot's they are a pretty standard rim.

The outside edge of the nut where it goes into the hole in the rim is 19.5mm, (measured by a tape measue and by eye) so if anyone has any smaller ones let Range Blitzer know.
