Front mudflaps for late model defender

I've got a 2005 fender. When they switched to English build they dropped the front mudflaps for some reason. I had a look at it and they would have to be close to the front wheel.

Has anyone fitted front Mudflaps? Photos please (beg beg) .

I've got an English build 2002 and it came with mudflaps at the front.

Here's the photo. Not brilliant, but will see if I can dig up a better one:

Side view. You can see the gap between the wheel and the flap more easily. Ignore the text - that was for a different email.

Thanks! I'd love a photo of the bracket arrangement they use.

Yeah - ex-Telstra from the NT. It's in really good nick. Haven't had any problems with it in the last 2 years (135,000Km on clock) apart from a leaking fuel pump at the rear of the engine. $350 so not too bad. Only paid $21K for it, so not expecting new car standards.

Capt_RF - I'll get a photo of the bracket when it's daylight (unless someone else comes up with one sooner)

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but the Telstra guys flogged them to pieces. Did the same with the Crusiers before the Td5's and now doing it to the Patrols they have. Funny they used to say the Tojo's were crap, then the Landy's and now the Patrols... maybe it's the drivers?

One of the guys in town was telling me how his crappy Defender Td5 wouldn't get him 400km on the 130L fuel tank. OK so a bit of discussion and I found out he like the other Telstra guys used to drive at about 140kph on the Bullman Track. They drive the vehicles hard with a lot of gear on board, I'd be checking for structural cracks.

Is the roof the same colour as the body? If so - it's a South African build.

There is a letter in the VIN which tells you, but I can't remember which one.
