discowhite did his td5 took both out i think he also has his egr valve blanked

omg i'm not joking the bark on that thing was awesome and the whistle was so loud he sounded like he had a supercharger on the car

he has recently put one back in i think a small one from memory but i could be wrong just to tone down the noise a bit as it was a little tooooo loud sounds good now with a better note

would like to do it to my tdi but reluctant to spend money on it until the exhaust actually needs doing!!!!!

Also, the genuine muffler weighs about 10 x as much as a straight through pipe so just think of the extra MPG and benefit to the environment

I had my centre muffler replaced after i heard Phils 90 (discowhite) i had been thinking of doing it, but after hearing Phils, ooh yeah

$60 and it does make a slight differance in down low, which is good for me as i tow a heavy camper.

I asked about removing the diesel cat and my muffler shop told me that this supplies enough back pressure for everything. If you remove the cat you might need to do something.

But then, if you get busted don't come to me

    exhaust vs economy

My muffler has developed a rattle and I will soon have to remove it. Does having a straight through pipe affect the engine temp or economy?

    Ruslan,
What did they slug you to make that??
My main concern was that the exhaust shops would stock the flanges. Will have to go down and have a chat.
