    The Chinese copy is from a company called Dongfeng. It is model no. CY4102BZQ. Apparently it is a direct copy, but for some reason is a lot heavier than the genuine Isuzu. In most automotive/truck applications it makes 110 bhp, if you believe quoted figures.

    I am looking at turbo options at the moment and decided it was safer and probably ultimately cheaper to put a turbo on my 4BD1. I reckon that's where the proceeds from the sale of the 120 ute will be going

    ..i found a pdf from QMR in relation to the stats and dimensions of their imports - it rates their 4bd1t at 470kg!!??? yikes.

    sounds about right actually... nobody ever claimed they were lightweights!!
