Bit confused I think...Diesels have one at the bottom of the timing case.....
and we should all use the one for the bell housing, I have the two installed and just remove them at service time to check whats been dripping if any..
I'll scan the pages from my user manual and post them here if ya like. I have a 1997 Disco V8i Auto and the manual only mentions wading plugs for the 300TDi engine vehicles.
This is what the RAVE manual has to say (in the owner's manual section).
