axle pops caps off

Hi all, I have replaced the rear passenger side axle and lost 2 rubber caps before I relised the axle end play is excessive and pops off the caps.

does any one know of any fix's as I can't take it back as I had it shipped up from perth to Darwin and are now back in Melb.

Yeah sorry about that, its a 130 defender
