ok,
i would have thought by now GQ would have put the update on,
the fuel pump was pumping like a trojan, the nut was cracked on the back of the fuel filter, saw a large amount of fuel coming out,
fuel filter came out, you need three hands for that, lucky I had one I wasn't using.
The reverse flush on the filter, revealed copious amount of black, brown, colured fuel, as well as bits of sediment and lots of it, reverse flow was average, normal flow, was drops. conclusion the filter is hoplessly clogged.
When last seen at 4pm , gq was soon to head into town to try and source an aftermarket filter, similar to the coopers brand that was on it. ( btw the filter was aged, it had a bit of that black paint on it the stealers tart up underbodies with.)
Hopefully by the late evening will be on with some good news.
