prep for a remote trip is full service and replace what is needed
spares are full set water hoses, serpentine belts, unijoint, fuel filter (incase contamination) CV and gasket goo, plus fluids Brake fluid, litre of ATX, engine oil (5lts) 5lt premix coolant, hose clips large and small, varying nuts ant bolt sizes..pretty much everything needed to get home except for a blown drive line.... PPPPP's live by them

Before remote trips, service vehicle, tyre pressures, water etc. Spares --- MR do a spares kit, they put in all the things they think you might need and if you use any of them you pay for them once you return. That way you don't end up with loads of bits not normally needed.

Park the Rangie in the shed and make sure the battery in the Patrol is charged.

Whos MR and where can I get these a kit, sounds like a great idea, I have a shortage of spares at the moment as I supplied a mate with most of mine to get him going and as they were all SH he just owes me grog for it or maybe a counter meal.

I have been meaning to top up with hoses and belts mainly, I have all the filters at work as they are common with some of my machines.
