Thanks Steve! What is the offset of the stock rims? +33? That makes the 15x8's sound ideal, at 0 offset.

I have seen some 15x7's on ebay, but haven't seen any 15x8's in my price range yet. I would probably be better off buying used wheels, as I will be painting/powdercoating them black anyway.

Unless you have some unusually precise engineering, I'd say anything you can get will have been set up to take a 31 x 10.5 on a Range Rover - this will work fine on your 2a. The ones I had were offset to the extent that now I have gone back to 235/85 x 16's on County rims, I get rubbing on the front of the springs at full lock (need to adjust my stops).
You will need arch extensions, and if you are a flex junkie, you might need to trim guards - will depend on your suspension setup more than anything else, as the wheel WILL extend at least to the guard.
Still, I'm no wheel expert, and the lads who get their wheels made to measure will chime in any moment now ;)
By the looks of that diagram my rims are neg offset as the flange in the rim is closer to the inside giving a wider offset than std :D:D:D

I've got a set (5) of sunnies with 31x10.5x15 Bridgestone 604's - Desert Duellers - that i'll be flogging when i get my disco rims back from having the offset changed..anyway, if you want to see what 15x8's look like on your buggy you're welcome to have a trial fit?? i have procomp wheels and tyres there 16 inch rims tyres the best wheels ive ever had on a landrover there mud terain pattern but great over any surface i live in the pilbara and in sand rocks mud sticks you name it good stuff but pretty exspensive at 250 per rim and same each for a tyreQuote:
