    Disco Paint - miracle cure wanted

    Well i just went out and looked atthe ole girl - with 300,000 km on the clock the bonet islooking decidedly crook-

    anyone know of any off the shelf fixes for crappy bleached disco paint....

    Depending on how bad it is, but Tcut and a lot of elbow grease may 'cut' it.

    My bonnet went off, paintwise, so I stripped it back to the bare alloy, around the sides, looks great! Took off the top layer of paint and repainted the middle section matt black.

    But the roof, which is getting patchy, will have to be a respray jobbie.

    Mick, The roof on my P38A was looking much the same.

    I just had the car detailed and the detailer cut the whole car back.

    It looks grouse, now.
