    Door tops for Series Landrover

It seems they are around $110 ish new here, yet they are around $17 pounds from the UK.

I might get a couple of sets if anyone else is interested in getting a set to cut down shipping.

I'll probably order a few other things from the UK if anyone else is interested in other parts also.

I have my cab of my LWB Ute about 1/4 broken down so far for painting.

    LR Series Door Tops

Best we have TWO left and TWO right hand door tops.
You pick a price, and supply me a Bank Account so I can pay you.
'Cos I am new, and you do not know me, or my son Alan; I would prefer to pay a large lump up front. Saves any embarrassment, later.
email to skivichailes@yahoo.com.au will also attract my attention.
I am at Mount Dandenong, Victoria.
    Hope you are local.
    Cheers from Vic

They're a bit more expensive, but you can get door tops made from aluminium extrusion out of Canada. That way it's a once only repair.

These are also set up so the front piece of glass slides as well - same as on the army 110's. Unfortunately they are more than a 'bit' more expensive. FWD in Brisbane are the distributors.

If desired this would be pretty easy to do with any door top - just fit double bailey channel top and bottom the full length and at the front. You would have to devise a suitable lock for the front section however.

So is there a recommended distributor in the UK ? I'd be interested in a few sets once price and shipping are quoted...

I have perentie door tops on my IIA, and they are great. All aluminium - so no rust, and both sections slide.

Got them from FWD second hand. Had to replace the bolt in one with some booker rod, but apart from that they were fine.
