Ace is unreal. I have it and i am glad as said previously the ace system will open all valves when your are doing any thing tough to give you full flex. I am just now replacing a few bushes and the filter and bleeding the system a very easy job. Parts are available so you dont have to replace any thing major. I have driven a few non ace discos and there is no comparison. but be warned you can get carried away when you do silly things on a dirt road.

not sure if SLS was an option,,
it came standard with the 7 seat model.
I really wanted ACE and SLS so I took a 7 seater and removed the rear two(Shhhh!). Add some

of these and you get 3 inches extra rear travel.
    Just add billys

presumably, unlike air suspension, if something goes wrong with ACE, it won't stop the vehicle from being drivable?

I'll have a look under mine when I pick it up, and I guess if it doesn't have ACE, I'll just do what I did with my 200Tdi - OME suspension and Bilstein steering damper. It can still clean up most vehicles through the roundabouts...

SLS was packaged with the seven seater, it wasn't available in oz on it's own.

If the pump fails, the vehicle will be undriveable (single serpentine belt).

And what an impressive belt it is... at 2.7m long! (V8)

presumably that's the main belt driving a range of engine bay components, so if it fails, you're going to have other problems anyway. Is this part considered reliable and is it easy to replace (it doesn't look to be so...). Hopefully it's easier to adjust than the 200tdi belts, or does it have a spring-loaded/self-tensioning set up?
