    TDi 300 Springs into A V8 D1

Hi all, my springs have sagged and I know where I wil get new ones from when I can justify it, considering all the other things SWMBO wants fixed first.
In the meantime I can get my hands on some good springs out of a 300TDi D1 (his D1 sits an inch higher than mine).
Is this worth my time and are the TDi springs taller/higher rate than the V8's???

I presume your'e talking about front springs - the diesel ones will be heavier. AFAIK, rears should be the same as the diesel.

They're easy enough to change - I'd try the other ones and see if you're happy with the ride height and the ride quality. You can also try rear springs on the front, there's lots of combinations to play with............

Once you unsieze the lower shock mounting bolts and put a bit of grease etc on the pin to make it easy next time, you can change front springs in about 10 mins a side.
