So, full of enthusiasm over my love of the 1985 Rangie, I decided to try and remove as much crap (dirt/grime/mud) left by the previous owners neglect (obviously never washed the thing!). But my enthusiasm has caused the indicators not to work anymore (I did use copious amounts of water in the engine bay

When I turn the indicator either way, I get zilch.. not lights on dash, no clicking sound, no lights on indicators (other things work, like high beam and horn). So, I must have either got water somewhere, or maybe the water pressure has made something go loose, like and earth connection. I hate electrical gremlims because im useless at trying to fix them. Can anyone point me in some directions that I can check?
