    D2 Radio Re Coding

Got a flat battery yesterday jump started OK while on the way to get a new battery I played around with the radio then later read the manual and found out I you only get a few attempts to re enter the code. I had the code at home.

Now over night I still have the 6 broken lines on the display and it won't let me enter the code. What can I do?

I know I should have read the manual first before I started to fiddle about.

I think if you leave it powered up for long enough it will reset and let you try again. Or is that powered down...? Scouse might know.

Hi big John yes the manual said if you leave it for a hour or more it will reset. However it did not reset itself over night. So I am wondering what to do next.

Thanks Pedro, I might have to wait a couple of days by the sound of it.

Just reset itself punched the right code in and all good. Thanks for the replies.

On that note 6 years out of an original battery in a TD5 could that be close to a record.
