Yes another tyre and rim question

I currently have Goodyear wranglers MT/R's 33x12.5 on my SIII, I have just got a set of Olympic steeltreks to put on instead as Wranglers are starting to get low on tread, they are a pain in the butt without power steering and ALSO a bit of an overkill on a SIII. I was going to put the steeltreks on the rims from my SWB but their load rating will be too low for the LWB, not to mention the lack of offset. So my next idea is to get a set of Defender rims for the steeltreks as these will not be a problem load rating wise, and (correct me if i'm wrong) also have a much greater offset. So what i am after is what sizes and offsets do standard Fender rims come in? and where can i get some?

    G'day Paulthepilot_5

If the standard rims from your SWB are stamped as 272309 that is the LWB rim No and will be OK for the Series 3 as when those vehicles load rating was not a critical factor as the speed of the vehicle was not a big problem, it is only since the increase in power, speed, and weight of the later vehicles and the use of alloy wheels that load rating has arisen. Standard SWB rims are 5.0 inch for 6.00/6.50 and LWB rims are 5.5inch to take 7.50 tyres

    cheers
