    SLS Air Leak

    Hi,
I am hoping someone can give me some info. I have SLS on a Disco II Td5 that is leaking where the air pipe enters the airbag. How do you attack the fitting to undo the nut to see what is going on?

What is the fix as it looks like only the fitting on top of the air bag is leaking air very slowly. Any help advice greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well depending on exactly where the leak is depends on the type of fix.

If it's on the screw in fitting connecting the pipe to the bag - then this may be loose or a poor fit, if a poor fit then 'maybe' a little PTFE tape (teflon tape) MAY fix it.

Have a look at the attached - it might give you the info you are looking for.

Also may I suggest you get yourself a RAVE CD for your vehicle from the markets section on this forum/web site.
