    V8 rocker cover breathers

i have twin carbs on my 3.5 V8 and have a question regarding the rocker cover breathers. at the moment they lead into the side of each carb, however i've heard that it's better for them to go into the air intake elbows via an adaptor (something to do with diluting of the gasses if placed post throttle butterfly). oh i should add that this is regarding LPG only. anyway i'm not too sure about this. what do you think??

here's a link. look at rocker box breather; http://www.tinleytech.co.uk/kit-extras.html

hi jasper, if you put the crancase breather into the manifold between the throttle and the engine you will effectivly lean the mixture and the engine will run lean, the fuel mixture set at the carb allows for the engine breathers.

Thats not what it is doing. It is putting the gases from the breathers slightly further upstream from the carb not the manifold side. Sounds like a good idea to me.
