    Base Maps for Haltechs

G'day all Im after a base map for a Haltech E6X computer to run a 3.9 litre V8 controlling fuel and ignition. I am willing to pay a reasonable price for it.
    Thanks

    Hi
I am not sure exactly what you are after but my 96 V8 disco has a Haltech engine management system on it and I have the software CD and quick start guide - not sure if it will copy but if that is what you are after I could try ???

What do you guys with the aftermarket ECUs think of the gains. Is it worth the outlay?

    Absolutely...

But ONLY if you go fuel and timing control.....
Theres a fuel only version but it doesnt do enough!

Yeah ive got the cd i only just read the writing on it and saw the base map bit. I will try it and see if its on there. Its the latest release so it might have one. I can't wait till its going and tuned. My old injection was a throttle body setup and I'm putting in the multi piont out of a disco. I will try TRS my mate has a lot to do with them and I think he is asking them on monday. Thanks for the responses.

Check their website. From memory I think they have a multitude of downloadable maps. If not they should email them to you if you already have their system. I have some maps home I think. If you do not find any by Tuesday pm me as I will be home and can have a look on my puter if I still have any. I do not leave site until Monday night. I am sure I downloaded a standard 3.9 map once.

I should still have the maps for the Haltech used in my 4.6 RR classic (sold 5 years ago).

It will be on floppy disk. I'll have a look tomorrow.

But did mine have an E6?? I still have the laptop software from Haltech as well.
